The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, known by its Dutch acronym KNAW, was founded in 1808 and is based in Amsterdam. Alongside its role as a learned society, it hosts a network of humanities and social science research institutes.

In the demo's research graph, KNAW Amsterdam leads the European Literary Bibliography project and is the affiliation of authors working on bibliographic linked data and MARC21 to RDF migration.
