Water Lilies

Water Lilies (or Nymphéas) is a series of around 250 oil paintings by French Impressionist Claude Monet. The paintings depict his flower garden at Giverny and were the main focus of his work during the last thirty years of his life.

This 1906 canvas belongs to the Musée d'Orsay and exemplifies Monet's fascination with light, color, and reflection on water.
